Celebrating 500th broadcast of’s ‘Shibuya OIRAN warmup Radio,’ a new song ‘Maybe Or Not’ performed by makominaming will be released! A commemorative party will be on December 8th at Shibuya Oiran.



Shibuya Oiran Warm-up Bar’s label producer, Kawamura Yuki, based in Shibuya, is actively involved in the dance music specialty internet radio, Her weekly show, “Shibuya OIRAN Warmup Radio,” which aims to liven up Friday nights from Shibuya Dogenzaka, is celebrating its 500th broadcast this weekend.

image1On December 8th, starting at 8:00 PM, as a talk guest, Taku Takahashi (m-flo), the director of and a sound creator, will join to discuss and reflect on the past, as well as talk about the future of Shibuya in a dialogue format. In conjunction with the 500th broadcast celebration, there will be a release of a new production by Kawamura Yuki and a party.

image5As a new release from “OIRAN MUSIC,” the pop duo “makominamin” (Mako Principal a.k.a. Watanabe Mako + Taga Minami) will release their new song, “Maybe Or Not – Nou-Ikishite,” for the first time in six months on December 6th (Wednesday). It will be available on various subscription services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, etc. The song, influenced by Tame Impala’s tension, pays homage to the Motown sound of the good old days while concluding in a modern and intimate atmosphere, creating sensitive bedroom dance and pop music.

The lyrics and production are by Kawamura Yuki of OIRAN MUSIC, with Minami Taga contributing to the creative aspects of the topline and details. The track is by Ichi Takiguchi. The innovative lyric video, utilizing LINE Video Call, is produced by Mako Principal, with visual direction by Makominamin themselves. The photos are by Moezo Sawada, and JJ handles hair and makeup.

Additionally, after the 500th broadcast, on Friday, December 8th, from 9:00 PM to midnight, the “Shibuya OIRAN Warm-up Radio 500 Party” will take place at Shibuya Oiran. DJ performances include Kawamura Yuki, Jet Turkey, and Naoki, who is an early listener.
