Yuki Kawamura releases a floor-like remix by House Violence of “R.I.P. Sunset,” a song dedicated to Balearic legend Jose Padilla, the legendary DJ from Ibiza who passed away suddenly last year.

Yuki Kawamura is known as DJ and music selector at festivals such as “Freedom Sunset”, “Ringo Music Festival”, and “Love Parade Mexico”.
She is also known as a selecter of the BGM for the Shibuya Ward Office, providing music for the open world RPG “Cyberpunk 2077,” and producing the warm-up bar “Shibuya Oiran,” which celebrates its 11th anniversary this year.

After consistently releasing her first track under the name Yuki Kawamura “Chakra” at the end of April, and a mindfulness-inspired track “mallow blue” in June, she released a new track “R.I.P. Sunset” on July 23.

This track is dedicated to Jose Padilla, who passed away suddenly last year. Jose was one of the most respected DJs in Kawamura’s life, a pioneer of the Balearic music movement from Ibiza, and a compiler of a CD series based on Cafe Del Mar, a sacred place for chill-out music.

On August 20, the day before Kawamura’s birthday, a floor-like remix version of “R.I.P Sunset” by House Violence, the creator of Plastik People (USA) and House Cookin’ Recoreds (Belgium), has been released.

It’s a great track with an even kick that is suitable for the end of summer 2021.

In addition, on September 5th, the release of this album will be commemorated in “Sunset and Sea Music Party Vol.7 – tribute to Jose Padilla (chill house& Balearic)” at LUVIT, a cafe space with an open terrace overlooking the ocean in Hayama. The event is limited to 20 people.
