The mysterious dream-pop duo Makominamin (Mako Principal a.k.a. Mako Watanabe + Minami Taga), who playfully combine art and music, released a new song, “Virtual Kiss,” on April 1, 2022.
Available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other subscription services.
The song was written and produced by Yuki Kawamura from OIRAN MUSIC, and the track was produced by ichi takiguchi. The mix-up of tracks is the latest update of Mako-Minami’s musical works, which have been adding dignified Japanese beauty to the fluffy feel.
The lyric video, which was released on March 30 on the Shibuya Oiran YouTube account, was produced by yumma from the self-produced artist unit totonnoy, which is currently working on the concept of “toning up” what it touches.
