DJ/Writer/Producer Yuki Kawamura to Release Rework Track “Dawn (After Dawn Ver.)” on February 28th via Subscription Services from OIRAN MUSIC.
Yuki Kawamura, known for performances at festivals like “Ringo Music Festival” and “Love Parade Mexico,” selection of in-building BGM for Shibuya Ward Office, providing music for the open-world RPG “Cyberpunk 2077,” and operating the warm-up bar “Shibuya Oiran,” will release a reworked track, “Dawn (After Dawn Ver.)” on February 28th through various subscription services.
Yuki Kawamura resumed music production under her own name after a hiatus of approximately 20 years during the pandemic. She previously released “R.I.P. Sunset,” dedicated to the late Jose Padilla, his mentor in Balearic style DJing and a legend of Ibiza.
Since then, she has steadily expanded her activities as an artist, releasing remix versions by up-and-coming creators such as Amps from TREKKIE TRAX, KH&The LASTTRAK, and House Violence. He also participated as a remixer in Square Enix’s popular title “NieR Re[in]carnation Chillout Arrangement Tracks.”
This new work is a rework by yamp kolt, with whom she reunited after about 20 years. The original ambient/chill-out track “Dawn,” produced in Bali and widely acclaimed, has been boldly transformed into a floor-ready house track. It’s a complex piece that incorporates improvisational elements and musical variations throughout.
